BACK to RUGS and Hooking . . . .

This morning raining  . . .squirrels are out and about in the garden and birds are in the branches. . . .this beautiful rug sits in a museum in Montreal.It is pure JOY to look at.Primitive at its best.Look at the simple cut out feeling of the tree branches with the garden in all its splender as a base.I love this little mat hooked so many years ago .. . . somewhere in Quebéc. . . . . . . .
