Dina started hooking a couple of years ago . . . with patterns from Deanne Fitzpatrick . .(I can see the influence!) .but has gone on to draw her own right on the backing-which certainly takes courage!!
I love the simplicity to this little mat and her use of colour and direction of hooking lines-Dina was not happy with the cow - it does look childish . . .thaqts what I like-but of course its HER RUG . . .but she is not taking it out . . . .lucky little girl will get to sit and roll on it tonight!
I personally think the best rugs are the ones you design yourself, even if they have a little bit of poison. Nice Job.
