Simple flower hooked with recycled 'Frenchies' skirts and jackets with a
Braided Border . . .
I love to hook small pieces when ever I am at hookins or waiting in a doctors waiting room . . .. yes I dont need a frame to hook at these times . . .
'Hit or Miss ' . . . .
means just taking a strip of wool out of a bag and hooking it without much thought . . .the surprise is fun . . .
Now the BRAIDED border is easy at first but then joining the 6 strips at the finish is beyond me . . . .Does anyone have any tips for me?
PLEASE leave a COMMENT!!
I will explain what 'Frenchies' is another day . . . . . . ..
that is a great uses of Worms, nice beginner idea too.

I LOVE this Judith! The braid is something I'd like to try to. I can see where joining the ends of the braiding would be rather difficult. I hope you can tell us what you figured out and if someone comes forth with an idea! Cathy G
ReplyDeleteI will certainly share any ideas that I might find out regarding the finishing! Its really hard to but the ends with out any mess or lumps showing . . .the braiding is easy -there are a few simple tricks or tips to it though
