Not far from me, about 10 miles and a small ferry ride for a $ is this BALANCING ROCK left there on the shore by a glacier millions of years ago . .
It is spectacular to see!!!.
FOUND about a mile through the woods and was only discovered about 20 years ago . . . it is now of course a tourist attraction on Long Island Nova Scotia south of Digby Neck.
My grandfather never heard of it and my father never was able to make the walk to see it . ..
My generation have all gotten there at one time or another . ..
I have not had a moment to get a good photo this summer and can't find any on my computer . . .thus this bad shot from a pamphlet I found the other day . . .
This ROCK is truly just sitting there waiting for . ..?
That is cool. I can't help wondering how many teenagers have tried to push it over??
