I love this lamp a friend made with an old wooden buoy . . .hard to find these days unless you collected them in the 60's . ..hanging on the wall beside it is a real Maud Lewis painting  . . a scene very familiar to Canadian rug hookers as many have hooked this pattern . . .available at  Highland Heart Hookery . . ..

Maud Lewis is a very famous Canadian folk artist . . .she lived here a few miles away  . . .. more to come later when I have more time to think . . .. today is reading day around here . . .and  gardening . . .lots to do. . ..the blueberries are picked for making a PIE!!!
