DESIGNING and COLOUR PLANNING

CHOOSE a . . . . ''FOCUS FABRIC''

One never knows where or when inspiration will pop up . . .Yesterday while doing the laundry I suddenly got terribly inspired by this DANISH childrens wear fabric . . .I dont know what I might do to change it into a BACKGROUND for my next rug . . .but its in my head and thats a start . . . .
A ''focus fabric'' is always a good place to start  for colour planning if you are stuck . . .usually it is always  colours you like . . .so you have a good feeling about it already . . .then build your design around it . . .
Meanwhile I have got to finish that BORDER I am having such a hard time with . . . . . . .will post soon when its done!I hope before CHRISTMAS!
