REPAIRING OLD HOOKED RUGS

JANUARY and its SNOWING- a PERFECT TIME to REPAIR 

I am between rugs to hook . .  . .so

 maybe its time to fix this OLD BLUENOSE MAT.

REPAIRING is not that difficult for someone who knows how to hook . . . .you just need time and patience!

Cut out small pieces of  LINEN backing and stitch them on over the holes  . .do not cut anything off from the old rug . . weave it in . . . .

Then hook new wool into the holes . . .and you've given an old friend a new life . . . .
