beach reading for me today . . . .in the distance you can see the men empting the weir of fish onto a fishing boat . . .that arrived from across the Bay in New Brunswick . . .Grand Manan . . .island . . .
I am thinking of all my rug hooking friends over there . .. . Trish Johnston . . .all my hooking friends here in the cove ,who went to your talk at the Toronto hook-in last winter -absolutely LOVED IT!!!!

ReplyDeleteThis is a little belated, but we have a folk art exhibit at Kingsbrae Garden Art Gallery, where I work, and for our opening reception last month, we had a Joe Norris, a Joe Sleep and two Maud Lewises on display - such a treat! Another treat was my mats being accepted into the show. Fun!
The show is up until Oct 8 and if you can resist visiting the Garden itself (or simply don't have time), admission is free to the Cafe, Gift Shop & Art Gallery this year. Open 10-6 July & August, 10-5 the remainder of the year.
