therefore . . . . I have been smocking and sewing to have this dress done for the 7th MAY . . .no time for hooking these days . . .but I love to sew and it has been wonderful to get back to my lonely sewing machine . . . . . .all the thread and buttons and fabrics . . .

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful job - and that fabric looks like it might be Liberty Cotton - yummy. This really takes me back to my childhood - mom smocked dresses for my two sisters and me. I smocked little doll dresses and loved doing it. Hmmmmm. Maybe it's time for a nice nightie until I have some little grand-girls. Nicely done.
